Explanation:

Daily Meditation, day 28 of 30 days of the month of March, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The Name of the Lord God’ – The God that delivered

One of the names of God in the Bible is the God the deliverer. God demonstrated His power and ability to deliver from the enemies from the Old Testament. Similarly Jesus Christ came as our deliverer in the new Testament. Even the righteous are delivered from the hands of the most wicked enemies by God. There are many people that can be good examples of the same scenarios in the Bible. David was delivered from the enemies who pursued him. Haman plotted to destroy the Jewish race but he came upon him instead.

And the Lord said to Joshua, “Do not fear them, for I have delivered them into your hand; not a man of them shall stand before you (Joshua 10:8).

Nebuchadnezzar spoke, saying, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, who sent His Angel and delivered His servants who trusted in Him, and they have frustrated the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they should not serve nor worship any god except their own God! (Daniel 3:28).

God has delivered into your hands the princes of Midian, Oreb and Zeeb. And what was I able to do in comparison with you?” Then their anger toward him subsided when he said that (Judges 8:3).

“Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘I am the Lord your God (Leviticus 18:2).

May the blessing of the Lord rest upon you and may the Lord grant us such grace and anointing of the Overcomer and prosperity in the new year. Praise the Lord.

May the Lord move with His great power and let all His enemies be scattered.
