Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 27 of 30 days of the month of March, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The Name of the Lord God’ – The God of Israel
One of the names of God in the Bible is the God of Israel. Following the fall of Adam, man fell short of the relationship between God and mankind. In re-establishing the relationship, the Almighty God had revealed Himself to Abraham and Isaac. In the subsequent generation, He had encounter with Jacob and changed his name from Jacob to Israel. The nation which carries the historical background with unique identity in the World till today.
So let Your name be magnified forever, saying, ‘The Lord of hosts is the God over Israel.’ And let the house of Your servant David be established before You (2 Samuel 7:26).
And Joshua said to all the people, “Thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘Your fathers, including Terah, the father of Abraham and the father of Nahor, dwelt on the other side of the River in old times; and they served other gods (Joshua 24:2).
“Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘I am the Lord your God (Leviticus 18:2).
May the blessing of the Lord rest upon you and may the Lord grant us such grace and anointing of the Overcomer and prosperity in the new year. Praise the Lord.
May the Lord move with His great power and let all His enemies be scattered.
