Day 25 of 30 days: on ‘Our God is a consuming Fire’ – The fire against His enemies

Scripture:

Now it came to pass, in the morning watch, that the Lord looked down upon the army of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and cloud, and He troubled the army of the Egyptians (Exodus 14:24).

Explanation:

In today Daily Meditation, day 25 of 30 days of the month of September we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic on ‘Our God is a consuming Fire’–

The fire against His enemies.

As we continue our study and with meditation on the Fire of God, we have seen the essence of His fire to the believers’ benefit. We understood from the scriptures that Our God is a consuming fire and from him a fire goes before Him. The Fire of God can go before Him and consume the enemies working against your life. There are many scenarios as it was in Sodom, Egypt, Babylon and with prophets of Baal against Elijah.

Now it came to pass, in the morning watch, that the Lord looked down upon the army of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and cloud, and He troubled the army of the Egyptians (Exodus 14:24).

Therefore, because the king’s command was urgent, and the furnace exceedingly hot, the flame of the fire killed those men who took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego (Daniel 3:22).

So Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, “If I am a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men.” And fire came down from heaven and consumed him and his fifty (2 Kings 1:10).

May you receive the portion of His inheritance in your life in the name of Jesus Christ.

Further Scriptures:

For the Lord is great and greatly to be praised; He is also to be feared above all gods (1 Chronicles 16:25).

Let us pray today: May you experience the fullness of God that brings supernatural manifestation of wisdom, healings, deliverance, signs and wonders in your life, marriage, finance, business, and family in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Glory be to God!

1. Let us pray for deliverance for those who are in going through afflictions.

2. We pray and agree for peace of God to reign in the Nation of Israel now and other places where there are troubles.
