Day 23 of 30 days: ‘The God that answers prayer’ – Sonship in prayer

Scripture:
The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” (Romans 8:15).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 23 of 30 days of the month of June we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The God that answers prayer’ – Sonship in prayer.
The Holy Spirit is also the Spirit of adoption in His work in the life of a believer. He is responsible for the Sonship that we discussed yesterday and He is responsible for the sonship, servant-like relationship with God with a loving, confident one, empowering believers to address God intimately as “Abba, Father. The Holy Spirit helps us in our prayers. We have a God that wants us to pray so He may answer our prayers. He does hear every prayers but He may sometimes decides if this is under His will to do it immediately or not.

The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together (Romans 8:16-17).
The people of Israel. Theirs is the adoption to sonship; theirs the divine glory, the covenants, the receiving of the law, the temple worship and the promises (Romans 9:4).

But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you (1 Peter 5:10).
Let us pray today: May you experience the fullness of God that brings supernatural manifestation of wisdom, healings, deliverance, signs and wonders in your life, marriage, finance, business, and family in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Glory be to God!
