Day 23 of 30 days: on ‘Our God is a consuming Fire’ – An Angel of fire

Scripture:

And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed (Exodus 3:2).

Explanation:

In today Daily Meditation, day 23 of 30 days of the month of September we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic on ‘Our God is a consuming Fire’–

An Angel of fire.

As we continue our study and with meditation on the Fire of God, we have seen the essence of His fire to the believers’ benefit. We understood from the scriptures that Our God is a consuming fire and from him a fire goes before Him. With this in mind, the scripture says that Moses was tending the flock of his father-in-law and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. Then and Angel appeared to him.

And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed (Exodus 3:2).

The sight of the glory of the Lord was like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel (Exodus 24:17).

And of the angels He says: “Who makes His angels spirits And His ministers a flame of fire (Hebrews 1:7).

And in the greatness of Your excellence You have overthrown those who rose against You; You sent forth Your wrath; It consumed them like stubble (Exodus 15:7).

As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, like the appearance of torches going back and forth among the living creatures. The fire was bright, and out of the fire went lightning (Ezekiel 1:13).

May you receive the portion of His inheritance in your life in the name of Jesus Christ.

For the Lord is great and greatly to be praised; He is also to be feared above all gods (1 Chronicles 16:25).

Let us pray today: May you experience the fullness of God that brings supernatural manifestation of wisdom, healings, deliverance, signs and wonders in your life, marriage, finance, business, and family in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Glory be to God!
