Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 21 of 31 days of the month of August we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic on ‘Exceedingly great and precious promises’– Enlightened with the Light.
The Lord God of Israel has promised His people to give Light. God is light and in Him there is no darkness though He created both light and darkness. The importance of light in our walk with God is extraordinary and indispensable. Light was an needed to disperse during the creation. In the mist of darkness, God spoke light into existence in the midst of darkness and light of God came.
He will redeem his soul from going down to the Pit, and his life shall see the light. “Behold, God works all these things, twice, in fact, three times with a man, to bring back his soul from the Pit, that he may be enlightened with the light of life (Job 33:28 – 30).
For You will light my lamp; The Lord my God will enlighten my darkness Psalm 18:28).
Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; When I fall, I will arise; When I sit in darkness, The Lord will be a light to me (Micah 7:8).
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints (Ephesians 1:18)
You must exercise faith by giving attention to the word and exact power over the contrite forces of darkness that will creep in during the unguarded hour.
May you receive the portion of His inheritance in your life in the name of Jesus Christ.
