Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 21 of 30 days of the month of March, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The Name of the Lord God’ – The name of Jesus Christ.
Over the last 20 days we have been meditating on the names of God in the Old Testament as people of the Jews encountered God and their lives are transformed. Today we look at the name of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ gave the disciples authority to use His name to heal, to save and to deliver people from darkness. In fact the 70 returned and were glad that demons are subject to them in the name of Jesus Christ.
Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:9-11).
Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in My Father’s name, they bear witness of Me (John 10:25).
Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name (Luke 10:17).
It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter.
May you encounter the names of Lord in the name of Jesus Christ (Proverbs 25:2).
May the blessing of the Lord rest upon you and may the Lord grant us such grace and anointing of the Overcomer and prosperity in the new year. Praise the Lord.
May the Lord move with His great power and let all His enemies be scattered.
