So Gideon built an altar there to the Lord, and called it The-Lord-Is-Peace. To this day it is still in Ophrah of the Abiezrites (Judges 6:24).
Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 20 of 30 days of the month of March, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The Name of the Lord God’ – Jehovah Shalom.
Jehovah Shalom means “The Lord is Peace” or “The Lord Is Our Peace.” Contrary to the character of Our God as a Consuming Fire, our God is a God of Peace.
Now Gideon perceived that He was the Angel of the Lord. So Gideon said, “Alas, O Lord God! For I have seen the Angel of the Lord face to face.” Then the Lord said to him, “Peace be with you; do not fear, you shall not die.” So Gideon built an altar there to the Lord, and called it The-Lord-Is-Peace. To this day it is still in Ophrah of the Abiezrites.
(Judges 6:22-24).
Then all the children of Israel, that is, all the people, went up and came to the house of God and wept. They sat there before the Lord and fasted that day until evening; and they offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the Lord (Judges 20:26).
The sight of the glory of the Lord was like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel (Exodus 24:17).
It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter.
May you encounter the names of Lord in the name of Jesus Christ (Proverbs 25:2).
May the blessing of the Lord rest upon you and may the Lord grant us such grace and anointing of the Overcomer and prosperity in the new year. Praise the Lord.
May the Lord move with His great power and let all His enemies be scattered.

And David built there an altar to the Lord, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So the Lord heeded the prayers for the land, and the plague was withdrawn from Israel (2 Samuel 24:25).
