Day 20 of 30 days: ‘The God that answers prayer’ – A good confession

Scripture:
And I prayed to the Lord my God, and made confession, and said, “O Lord, great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant and mercy with those who love Him, and with those who keep His commandments(Daniel 9:4).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 20 of 30 days of the month of June we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The God that answers prayer’ – A good confession.
Through the books of the Bible we know that one of the types of Prayers is confession. Daniel called to repentance when the Land had sinned against God. There were many of such occurrences in the Bible where God called the children of Israel to repent of their sins and be cleanse from their backsliding. We have a God that wants us to pray so He may answer our prayers. He does hear every prayers but He may sometimes decides if this is under His will to do it immediately or not.
And I prayed to the Lord my God, and made confession, and said, “O Lord, great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant and mercy with those who love Him, and with those who keep His commandments(Daniel 9:4).
Now therefore, make confession to the Lord God of your fathers, and do His will; separate yourselves from the peoples of the land, and from the pagan wives (Ezra 10:11).
Come, and let us return to the Lord; For He has torn, but He will heal us; He has stricken, but He will bind us up (Hosea 6:1).
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne (Revelation 3:20 – 21).

But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you (1 Peter 5:10).
Let us pray today: May you experience the fullness of God that brings supernatural manifestation of wisdom, healings, deliverance, signs and wonders in your life, marriage, finance, business, and family in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Glory be to God!
