Day 20 of 30 days: on ‘Our God is a consuming Fire’ – Under His glory

Scripture:

Therefore the Lord, the Lord of hosts, Will send leanness among his fat ones; And under his glory He will kindle a burning Like the burning of a fire (Isaiah 10:16).

Explanation:

In today Daily Meditation, day 20 of 30 days of the month of September we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic on ‘Our God is a consuming Fire’– Under His glory.

We will study and continue with our meditation on the use and the importance of the Fire of God. The scripture text revealed to us that under His glory He will kindle a burning Like the burning of a fire. The glory of God is the totality of His presence as God is a consuming fire. God used the instrument of the burning fire to wage war against His enemies the devil and His demons.

Therefore the Lord, the Lord of hosts, Will send leanness among his fat ones; And under his glory He will kindle a burning Like the burning of a fire (Isaiah 10:16).

As charcoal is to burning coals, and wood to fire, So is a contentious man to kindle strife (Proverbs 26:21).

As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, like the appearance of torches going back and forth among the living creatures. The fire was bright, and out of the fire went lightning (Ezekiel 1:13).

Now Mount Sinai was completely in smoke, because the Lord descended upon it in fire. Its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked greatly (Exodus 19:18).

May you receive the portion of His inheritance in your life in the name of Jesus Christ.

Further Scriptures:

For the Lord is great and greatly to be praised; He is also to be feared above all gods (1 Chronicles 16:25).

Let us pray today: May you experience the fullness of God that brings supernatural manifestation of wisdom, healings, deliverance, signs and wonders in your life, marriage, finance, business, and family in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Glory be to God!

1. Let us pray for deliverance for those who are in going through afflictions.

2. We pray and agree for peace of God to reign in the Nation of Israel now and other places where there are troubles.
