Day 19 of 31 days: on ‘Exceedingly great and precious promises’ – Revive

Then the Lord heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came back to him, and he revived (2 Kings 17:22).

In today Daily Meditation, day 19 of 31 days of the month of August we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic on ‘Exceedingly great and precious promises’– Revive. 

The Lord God of Israel has promised His people and He is still in business to revive farmish soul and spirit. This is a significant spiritual intervention that is capable of bring back restoration. At times either the body or the soul is at or near dead state that without the Anointing to revive the resultant is spiritual death. You must exercise faith by giving attention to the word and exact power over the contrite forces of darkness that will creep in during the unguarded hour. The anointing and the power of God is required to flourish in life. Elijah was confronted with a dead son of a woman who was his landlord as the son died while Elijah was lodging there. 

And he stretched himself out on the child three times, and cried out to the Lord and said, “O Lord my God, I pray, let this child’s soul come back to him.”Then the Lord heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came back to him, and he revived (2 Kings 17:21-22).

Revive me according to Your lovingkindness, So that I may keep the testimony of Your mouth (Psalm 119:88).

Let Your hand be upon the man of Your right hand, Upon the son of man whom You made strong for Yourself. Then we will not turn back from You; Revive us, and we will call upon Your name (Psalm 80: 17-18).

It shall come to pass in that day That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil (Isaiah 10:27).

May you receive the portion of His inheritance in your life in the name of Jesus Christ.
