Daily Meditation, day 19 of 30 days of the month of March, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The Name of the Lord God’ – A Consuming Fire
One of the terrifying names of God due to His character is that Our God is a Consuming Fire.
God’s presence or glory is His presence that consumes everything not aligned with His holiness. The Fire of God is a two-edge sword. It is a purifier as the Holy Spirit burns away impurity, and brings spiritual revival on the other hands He consumes the wicked or Tares that does not align with God’s plan.
For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God (Deuteronomy 4:24).
Therefore understand today that the Lord your God is He who goes over before you as a consuming fire. He will destroy them and bring them down before you; so you shall drive them out and destroy them quickly, as the Lord has said to you (Deuteronomy 9:3).
The sight of the glory of the Lord was like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel (Exodus 24:17).
It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter.
May you encounter the names of Lord in the name of Jesus Christ (Proverbs 25:2).
May the blessing of the Lord rest upon you and may the Lord grant us such grace and anointing of the Overcomer and prosperity in the new year. Praise the Lord.
May the Lord move with His great power and let all His enemies be scattered.
