Day 19 of 30 days: ‘The God that answers prayer’ – A call to repentance

Scripture:
Come, and let us return to the Lord; For He has torn, but He will heal us; He has stricken, but He will bind us up (Hosea 6:1).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 19 of 30 days of the month of June we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The God that answers prayer’ – A call to repentance.
The call to repentance is necessary when the Lord instructed individual or nations to repent from backsliding. It is often necessary when an individual falls short of the glory of God and may be due to a particular sin that God call for a repentance. There were many of such occurrences in the Bible where God called the children of Israel to repent of their sins and be cleanse from their backsliding. We have a God that wants us to pray so He may answer our prayers. He does hear every prayers but He may sometimes decides if this is under His will to do it immediately or not.
Come, and let us return to the Lord; For He has torn, but He will heal us; He has stricken, but He will bind us up (Hosea 6:1).
“Now, therefore,” says the Lord, “Turn to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness;
and He relents from doing harm (Hoseas 2:12-13).
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne (Revelation 3:20 – 21).

Let us pray today: May you experience the fullness of God that brings supernatural manifestation of wisdom, healings, deliverance, signs and wonders in your life, marriage, finance, business, and family in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Glory be to God!
