Day 18 of 30 days: on ‘Our God is a consuming Fire’ – His glory like of consuming fire

Scripture:

Now Mount Sinai was completely in smoke, because the Lord descended upon it in fire. Its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked greatly (Exodus 19:18).

Explanation:

In today Daily Meditation, day 18 of 30 days of the month of September we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic on ‘Our God is a consuming Fire’–

His glory like of consuming fire.

We will study and continue with our meditation on the use and the importance of the Fire of God. The scripture text revealed to us different appearances or encounters with the fire of God. The one that cuts my attention is the appearance of His glory like smoke that ascended like the smoke of a furnace and the whole mountain quaked greatly. Moses had several of such encounters following his experience as with a burning bush but the bush did not burn. I believe as we are to be like a flame of fire, so we become Fire ourselves and a terror to the Kingdom of darkness.

Now it came to pass, in the morning watch, that the Lord looked down upon the army of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and cloud, and He troubled the army of the Egyptians (Exodus 14:24).

Therefore, thus says the Lord God: “I will cause a stormy wind to break forth in My fury; and there shall be a flooding rain in My anger, and great hailstones in fury to consume it (Ezekiel 13:13).

May you receive the portion of His inheritance in your life in the name of Jesus Christ.

Further Scriptures:

For the Lord is great and greatly to be praised; He is also to be feared above all gods (1 Chronicles 16:25).

Let us pray today: May you experience the fullness of God that brings supernatural manifestation of wisdom, healings, deliverance, signs and wonders in your life, marriage, finance, business, and family in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Glory be to God!

1. Let us pray for deliverance for those who are in going through afflictions.

2. We pray and agree for peace of God to reign in the Nation of Israel now and other places where there are troubles.
