Scripture:

For You have broken the yoke of his burden And the staff of his shoulder, The rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian (Isaiah 9:4).

Explanation:

In today Daily Meditation, day 17 of 31 days of the month of August we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic on ‘Exceedingly great and precious promises’– Yoke destroyer.

The Lord God of Israel has promised His people that He will break and destroy the yoke upon the people. There are several kinds of yoke that enemy can you to plague anyone. Such is the yoke of poverty, delay, stagnancy and sickness and diseases. The anointing of the Lord is a yoke destroyer. You must exercise faith by giving attention to the word and exact power over the contrite forces of darkness that will creep in during the unguarded hour.

For You have broken the yoke of his burden And the staff of his shoulder, The rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian (Isaiah 9:4).

It shall come to pass in that day That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil (Isaiah 10:27).

The Lord Jesus said: Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light”(Matthew 11:28-30).
