Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 17 of 30 days of the month of September we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic on ‘Our God is a consuming Fire’–
His ministers a flame of fire.
We will study and continue with our meditation on the use and the importance of the Fire of God. The scripture text revealed to us that we are not just waiting to be baptized with Baptism of Fire but be made a Minister with a flame of fire. A flame of fire is difficult to touch without the risk of been burn. I believe as we are a flame of fire, we become Fire ourselves and we are untouchable and a terror to the enemy of God.
And of the angels He says: “Who makes His angels spirits And His ministers a flame of fire (Hebrews 1:7).
And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire (Matthew 3:10-11)
.
Therefore, thus says the Lord God: “I will cause a stormy wind to break forth in My fury; and there shall be a flooding rain in My anger, and great hailstones in fury to consume it (Ezekiel 13:13).
May you receive the portion of His inheritance in your life in the name of Jesus Christ.
