Daily Meditation, day 16 of 30 days of the month of March, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The Name of the Lord God’ – Jehovah-Tsidkenu
Jehovah-Tsidkenu, means “The Lord is our Righteousness.”
This is one of the names of God in the Old Testament, at it emphasizes that righteousness is a gift from God through faith in Jesus Christ, rather than earned through personal merit or obedience to the law. Jesus Christ came to offer us the gift of righteousness, offering a solution to sin and a comfort to believers that their standing with God is secured by Him.
“Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord, “That I will raise to David a Branch of righteousness; A King shall reign and prosper, and execute judgment and righteousness in the earth. In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell safely; now this is His name by which He will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS (Jeremiah 23:6).
But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God and righteousness and sanctification and redemption (1 Corinthians 1:30).
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”(Romans 1:16-17).
May you encounter the names of Lord in the name of Jesus Christ.
May the blessing of the Lord rest upon you and may the Lord grant us such grace and anointing of the Overcomer and prosperity in the new year. Praise the Lord.
May the Lord move with His great power and let all His enemies be scattered.
Further Scriptures:
The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified His Servant Jesus, whom you delivered up and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let Him go (Acts 3:13).
