I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” (Psalm 91:2).

Explanation:

Daily Meditation, day 15 of 30 days of the month of March, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The Name of the Lord God’ – Jehovah Nissi

Jehovah-Nissi, means “The Lord is my Banner” or “The Lord is my Refuge”. This is one of the names of God in the Old Testament, famously used in Psalm 91. It signifies God as a provider of victory, protection, and identity in battle, stemming from when Moses lifted his staff to secure a win over the Amalekites.

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;

My God, in Him I will trust.” Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler

and from the perilous pestilence (Psalm 91: 1-3).

But the Lord has been my defence, And my God the rock of my refuge (Psalm 94:22).

My lovingkindness and my fortress, My high tower and my deliverer, My shield and the One in whom I take refuge, Who subdues my people under me (Psalm 144:2).

May you encounter the names of Lord in the name of Jesus Christ.

May the blessing of the Lord rest upon you and may the Lord grant us such grace and anointing of the Overcomer and prosperity in the new year. Praise the Lord.

May the Lord move with His great power and let all His enemies be scattered.
