Day 11 of 30 days: on ‘Our God is a consuming Fire’ – Let fire come down.

Scripture:

The house of Jacob shall be a fire, And the house of Joseph a flame; But the house of Esau shall be stubble; They shall kindle them and devour them, And no survivor shall remain of the house of Esau,” For the Lord has spoken (Obadia 1:18).

Explanation:

In today Daily Meditation, day 11 of 30 days of the month of September we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic on ‘Our God is a consuming Fire’– Let fire come down.

As we study and meditate on the use and the importance of the Fire of God, we cannot but mention the use of Fire in the life of a righteous that conditions and energizes. However in the house of an wicked it shall be a devouring device. This is the similarity of the scripture in the house of Jacob. Whereas in the house of Esau, it shall devours.

The house of Jacob shall be a fire, And the house of Joseph a flame; But the house of Esau shall be stubble; They shall kindle them and devour them, And no survivor shall remain of the house of Esau,” For the Lord has spoken (Obadia 1:18).

“But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire And like launderers’ soap (Malachi 3:2).

So Elijah answered and said to them, “If I am a man of God, let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men.” And the fire of God came down from heaven and consumed him and his fifty (2 Kings 1:12).

May you receive the portion of His inheritance in your life in the name of Jesus Christ.

Let us pray today: May you experience the fullness of God that brings supernatural manifestation of wisdom, healings, deliverance, signs and wonders in your life, marriage, finance, business, and family in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Glory be to God!

1. Let us pray for deliverance for those who are in going through afflictions.

2. We pray and agree for peace of God to reign in the Nation of Israel now and other places where there are troubles.
