Day 09 of 30 days: on ‘Our God is a consuming Fire’ – Let fire come down.

Scripture:

So Elijah answered and said to them, “If I am a man of God, let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men.” And the fire of God came down from heaven and consumed him and his fifty (2 Kings 1:12).

Explanation:

In today Daily Meditation, day 9 of 30 days of the month of September we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic on ‘Our God is a consuming Fire’– Let fire come down.

As we study and meditate on the use and the importance of the Fire of God, we cannot but mention the practice of Fire on the altar as the weapon most importantly engagement with the spiritual realities. Elijah performed an extraordinary miracles as a man of God as He called Fire from his colleagues.

So Elijah answered and said to them, “If I am a man of God, let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men.” And the fire of God came down from heaven and consumed him and his fifty (2 Kings 1:12).

Look, fire has come down from heaven and burned up the first two captains of fifties with their fifties. But let my life now be precious in your sight (2 Kings 1:14).

For our God is a consuming fire (Hebrews 12:29).

May you receive the portion of His inheritance in your life in the name of Jesus Christ.

Let us pray today: May you experience the fullness of God that brings supernatural manifestation of wisdom, healings, deliverance, signs and wonders in your life, marriage, finance, business, and family in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Glory be to God!
