Day 05 of 30 days: on ‘The glory of God’– The glory of the Lord filled the temple

Scripture:

When Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the Lord filled the temple (2 Chronicles 7:1).

Explanation:

In today Daily Meditation, day 05 of 31 days of the month of September we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic on ‘The glory of God’ – The glory of the Lord filled the temple.

Today will be meditating on the glory of God and must importantly on the God of glory. Yesterday we said that there is evidence of the physical representation of the glory of God. Such were episodes in the scriptures of the glory of God present. Solomon was the King who offered sacrificial offering to God and fire came down from heaven and the glory of the Lord filled the temple. In the old testament, there was a similarity to appearance of the sight We understood from the scriptures that Our God is a consuming fire and from him a fire goes before Him.

When Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the Lord filled the temple (2 Chronicles 7:1).

Then the glory of the Lord went up from the cherub, and paused over the threshold of the temple; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the Lord’s glory (Ezekiel 10:4).

The sight of the glory of the Lord was like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel (Psalm 24:17).

Now the glory of the Lord rested on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. And on the seventh day He called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud (Exodus 24:16).

May you receive the portion of His inheritance in your life in the name of Jesus Christ.

The sight of the glory of the Lord was like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel (Exodus 24:17).

Let us pray today: May you experience the fullness of God that brings supernatural manifestation of wisdom, healings, deliverance, signs and wonders in your life, marriage, finance, business, and family in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Glory be to God!
