Day 05 of 30 days: on ‘Our God is a consuming Fire’ – A devouring Fire.

Scripture:

The Lord will cause His glorious voice to be heard, And show the descent of His arm, With the indignation of His anger And the flame of a devouring fire, With scattering, tempest, and hailstones (Isaiah 30:30).

Explanation:

In today Daily Meditation, day 5 of 30 days of the month of September we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic on ‘Our God is a consuming Fire’– A devouring Fire.

Through out of the scriptures we saw the different use of the Fire of God its His role as weapon of judgement most importantly is the use of a devouring fire. The judgement of God was prophesied by His holy prophets. Prophet Isaiah for instance warned the people of Israel of the impending judgement of God caused by disobedience. May the Lord baptise you with the Fire of God and destroy every plan of the adversaries of our life by fire. Glory be to God.

He has cut off in fierce anger Every horn of Israel; He has drawn back His right hand From before the enemy. He has blazed against Jacob like a flaming fire Devouring all around (Lamentation 2:3).

You will be punished by the Lord of hosts With thunder and earthquake and great noise, With storm and tempest And the flame of devouring fire (Isaiah 29:6).

For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God (Deuteronomy 4:24).

For our God is a consuming fire (Hebrews 12:29).

May you receive the portion of His inheritance in your life in the name of Jesus Christ.

Let us pray today: May you experience the fullness of God that brings supernatural manifestation of wisdom, healings, deliverance, signs and wonders in your life, marriage, finance, business, and family in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Glory be to God!

1. Let us pray for deliverance for those who are in going through afflictions.

2. We pray and agree for peace of God to reign in the Nation of Israel now and other places where there are troubles.
