Day 03 of 30 days: ‘The enemy of the Lord was defeated’ – The name of the Lord

Scripture:

Then Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beersheba, and there called on the name of the Lord, the Everlasting God (Genesis 21:33)

Explanation:

In today Daily Meditation, day 03 of 30 days of the month of September we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic on ‘The enemy of the Lord was defeated’ – The name of the Lord.

In this month we shall meditate on the victory obtained for us by God against the enemy of the Lord. The devil and his demons have the mission to steal, to kill and destroy. The experience of Abraham when the Abimelech’s servants seized his well of water thought us how easy to have victory when the Lord arise to fight for us. Abraham called the place Beersheba. May the victory of Christ on the Cross be a daily experience to us in our daily exercise of faith in the name of Jesus Christ.

The scripture says:

Thus they made a covenant at Beersheba. So Abimelech rose with Phichol, the commander of his army, and they returned to the land of the Philistines. Then Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beersheba, and there called on the name of the Lord, the Everlasting God. And Abraham stayed in the land of the Philistines many days (Genesis 21: 32 – 33).

May you receive the portion of His inheritance in your life in the name of Jesus Christ.
