Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 09 of 30 days of the month of November, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘God of light’- The word and light.
The word of God is a source of Light just as God is Light. He is Creator of Greater and Lesser Light which are Sun and the Moon respectively. The Sun makes the day bright day and the moon for the night. However, they appear physically, they are positioned in the Universe and the Bible yet speaks of their spiritual significance. The light of God is the answer to disperse away the darkness. The light can make you shine.
The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple (Psalm 119:130).
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path (Psalm 119:105).
Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you (Isaiah 60:1).
The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night (Psalm 121:6).
But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light (Ephesians 5:13).
This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all (1 John 1:5).
May the ‘God of Light’ be your Light and salvation in the month and grant you all your heart desires, favour grace and the blessing.
