Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also (Genesis 1:16).

Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 07 of 30 days of the month of November, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘God of light’- Greater and Lesser Light.
God is Light. He is Creator of Greater and Lesser Light which are Sun and the Moon respectively. However, they appear physically, they are positioned in the Universe and the Bible yet speaks of their spiritual significance. The light of God is the answer to disperse away the darkness. In the course of this study and meditation we will look into the role of these creations.
Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also (Genesis 1:16).
The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night (Psalm 121:6).
Praise Him, sun and moon; Praise Him, all you stars of light! (Psalm 148:3).
But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light (Ephesians 5:13).
Therefore, I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him (Romans 1:15-17).
This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all (1 John 1:5).
May the ‘God of Light’ be your Light and salvation in the month and grant you all your heart desires, favour grace and the blessing.
