Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 30 of 31 days of the month of November, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The God of power’ – Power against infirmities and afflictions.
Jesus Christ though He was Son of God was anointed with Holy Spirit and power. Therefore, the grace of God was upon Him. He was not only teaching and preaching but healing and delivering multitude through the power of the Holy Spirit. He showed to us by giving such power to His disciples and they went out demonstrating similar power. May the Lord grant us such grace and power especially over infirmities and afflictions and evil spirits ravaging so many lives together as they play ignorant of such unseen impacts of the power of darkness.
The Lord Jesus Christ gave His disciples power to trample serpents and scorpion and all the power of the enemy.
And that very hour He cured many of infirmities, afflictions, and evil spirits; and to many blind He gave sight. Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things you have seen and heard: that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, the poor have the gospel preached to them (Luke 7:21-22).
And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease (Matthew 10:1).
Jesus Christ gave the disciples power and authority over unclean spirits to cast them out and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kind of disease. The blood of Jesus Christ along with the Fire of God are powerful weapons against wickedness.
May the Lord move with His great power and let all His enemies be scattered.
