Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 29 of 31 days of the month of January, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The blessing of the Lord’ – The spirit of poverty.
Today we will meditate on the scriptures on the blessing of the Lord but in particular we will focus on the spiritual blessing of the Lord and the enforcer of opposition to the blessing of which is poverty. The Bible didn’t specifically mentioned the spirit of poverty. However poverty is a feature of a curse at times. As we do know that most spiritual things are mediated by its own spirit likewise is poverty. It is like anxiety which is under the control of the spirit of fear. One must do whatever it takes to come out of the bondage of power. May you encounter an open door of wealth in the name of Jesus Christ.
Poverty and shame will come to him who disdains correction, But he who regards a rebuke will be honoured (Proverbs 13:18).
There is one who scatters, yet increases more; and there is one who withholds more than is right, but it leads to poverty. The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself (Proverbs 11:24-25).
Let us know, Let us pursue the knowledge of the Lord. His going forth is established as the morning; He will come to us like the rain, Like the latter and former rain to the earth (Hoseas 6:3).
I will make them and the places all around My hill a blessing; and I will cause showers to come down in their season; there shall be showers of blessing (Ezekiel 34:26).
May the blessing of the Lord rest upon you and may the Lord grant us such grace and anointing of the Overcomer and prosperity in the new year. Praise the Lord.
May the Lord move with His great power and let all His enemies be scattered.
Further Scriptures:
That the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith (Galatians 3:14).
