Day 28 of 31 days: ‘The God of power’ – Power against their idols

‘You shall not make idols for yourselves; neither a carved image nor a sacred pillar shall you rear up for yourselves; nor shall you set up an engraved stone in your land, to bow down to it; for I am the Lord your God’ (Leviticus 26:1).
Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 28 of 31 days of the month of November, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The God of power’ – Power against their idol.
The Lord God of Israel made a covenant with the people of Israel that they shall not make for themselves moulded gods or turn to an idols power of God is real and that is the weapon that can put demonic altars under their negative influences on believers of Christ. Evil altars exist worldwide and represent a focal point for demonic offerings and sacrifices.
‘You shall not make idols for yourselves; neither a carved image nor a sacred pillar shall you rear up for yourselves; nor shall you set up an engraved stone in your land, to bow down to it; for I am the Lord your God’ (Leviticus 26:1).
I will destroy your high places, cut down your incense altars, and cast your carcasses on the lifeless forms of your idols; and My soul shall abhor you (Leviticus 26:30).
A prototype of a man who worked wickedly and receive the judgement of the Lord was King Ahab. The Bible says:
But there was no one like Ahab who sold himself to do wickedness in the sight of the Lord, because Jezebel his wife [c]stirred him up. 26 And he behaved very abominably in following idols, according to all that the Amorites had done, whom the Lord had cast out before the children of Israel (1 Kings 21:25-26).
Say to God, “How awesome are Your works! Through the greatness of Your power Your enemies shall submit themselves to You (Psalm 66:3).
Jesus Christ gave the disciples power and authority over unclean spirits to cast them out and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kind of disease. The blood of Jesus Christ along with the Fire of God are powerful weapons against wickedness.
May the Lord move with His great power and let all His enemies be scattered.
