Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 28 of 31 days of the month of August, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘God, The Great Deliverer’ – Be delivered from power of afflictions.
Affliction can be regarded as one of the works of darkness orchestrated as the so called power of wicked works or evil works. So many are affected during the old days likewise in our generation. These are works of darkness carried out in the secret or darkness but as everything is naked before the Spirit of God. Thanks be to Jesus Christ Who brought to us the power of God to cure afflictions.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all (Psalm 34:19).
For He healed many, so that as many as had afflictions pressed about Him to touch Him (Mark 3:10).
And that very hour He cured many of infirmities, afflictions, and evil spirits; and to many blind He gave sight (Luke 7:21).
And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom. To Him be glory forever and ever. Amen! (2 Timothy 4:18).
Jesus Christ gave the disciples power and authority over unclean spirits to cast them out and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kind of disease. The blood of Jesus Christ along with the Fire of God are powerful weapons against wickedness.
May the ‘God, The Great Deliverer’ be your God in the month and grant you all your heart desires, favour grace and the blessing.
