And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was (John 17:5).
Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 28 of 30 days of the month of August, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The God of Glory’ – Prayer for the Glory of God.
In today Daily meditation, we want to bring to the attention that we receive the glory by faith and that we can pray for God to increase or grant us his glory. Jesus Himself pray to the Father concerning the Glory of God. May you be a Career of His glory in the name of Jesus Christ.
And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was (John 17:5).
I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours (John 17:9).
“I will set My glory among the nations; all the nations shall see My judgment which I have executed, and My hand which I have laid on them (Ezekiel 39:21).
But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord (2 Corinthians 3:18).
Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily,
and your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.
Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; You shall cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’(Isaiah 58:8-9).
Lift up your heads, O you gates! and be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah (Psalm 24:7-10).
