Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 27 of 31 days of the month of November, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The God of power’ – Power against their altars.
The power of God is real and that is the weapon that can put demonic altars under their negative influences on believers of Christ. Evil altars exist worldwide and represent a focal point for demonic offerings and sacrifices.
I will destroy your high places, cut down your incense altars, and cast your carcasses on the lifeless forms of your idols; and My soul shall abhor you (Leviticus 26:30).
The genesis of the use of such altars to orchestrate wickedness is not a new occurrence but has occurred over many generations. We saw an example of use of altars as Balaam told Balak the king of Moab to prepare or build seven altars for me here, and prepare for me here seven bulls and seven rams.
But thus you shall deal with them: you shall destroy their altars, and break down their sacred pillars, and cut down their wooden images, and burn their carved images with fire (Deuteronomy 7:5).
And you shall destroy their altars, break their sacred pillars, and burn their wooden images with fire; you shall cut down the carved images of their gods and destroy their names from that place (Deuteronomy 12:3).
Say to God, “How awesome are Your works! Through the greatness of Your power Your enemies shall submit themselves to You (Psalm 66:3).
Jesus Christ gave the disciples power and authority over unclean spirits to cast them out and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kind of disease. The blood of Jesus Christ along with the Fire of God are powerful weapons against wickedness.
May the Lord move with His great power and let all His enemies be scattered.
Further Scriptures:
Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite (Psalm 147:5).
