Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 26 of 31 days of the month of August, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘God, The Great Deliverer’ – Be delivered from conspiracy.
A conspiracy is a secret plan or agreement by two or more people to commit an unlawful or harmful act. The Bible showed to us the examples of conspiracy that happened to people and how the Lord rescued them. Otherwise, conspiracy is an evil gang up which can have a deleterious consequence. The case of Sanballat, Tobiah, Geshem the Arab, and the rest of our enemies against the Jews was a good prototype of conspiracy in the scripture.
And they formed a conspiracy against him in Jerusalem, and he fled to Lachish; but they sent after him to Lachish and killed him there (2 Kings 14:19).
Now it happened when Sanballat, Tobiah, Geshem the Arab, and the rest of our enemies heard that I had rebuilt the wall, and that there were no breaks left in it (though at that time I had not hung the doors in the gates) (Nehemiah 6:1).
After the time that Amaziah turned away from following the Lord, they made a conspiracy against him in Jerusalem, and he fled to Lachish; but they sent after him to Lachish and killed him there (2 Chronicles 25:27).
After these things King Ahasuerus promoted Haman, the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, and advanced him and set his seat above all the princes who were with him (Esther 3:1).
Jesus Christ gave the disciples power and authority over unclean spirits to cast them out and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kind of disease. The blood of Jesus Christ along with the Fire of God are powerful weapons against wickedness.
May the ‘God, The Great Deliverer’ be your God in the month and grant you all your heart desires, favour grace and the blessing.
