Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 24 of 31 days of the month of August, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘God, The Great Deliverer’ – The Lord delivered them.
The Lord Jesus Christ can deliver one from any of many of these demonic atrocities caused by the power of darkness. In the lives of many today, we can see that the Lord delivered many from their trouble, bondage and affliction. Jesus Christ gave the disciples power and authority over unclean spirits to cast them out and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kind of disease.
Giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins (Colossians 1:12-14).
Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and He delivered them out of their distresses. And He led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city for a dwelling place. Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! For He satisfies the longing soul, and fills the hungry soul with goodness. Those who sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, Bound in affliction and iron. Because they rebelled against the words of God, And despised the counsel of the Most High, Therefore He brought down their heart with labour; They fell down, and there was none to help. Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and He saved them out of their distresses (Psalm 107: 6-13).
May the ‘God, The Great Deliverer’ be your God in the month and grant you all your heart desires, favour grace and the blessing.
