Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 24 of 28 days of the month of February, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The Anointing of the Lord’– The anointing breaks yokes.
In today Daily Meditation, we will be meditating on the Anointing of the Lord and especially on the Anointing of God that breaks yokes. The Arrogancy of the Assyrians and their warring against Israel provoke the punishment of God and indignation of God as an unglodly nation before the Lord. God promised that their yoke will be destroyed by His anointing. Likewise, one can be plagued with yoke. There are several forms of yokes such as infirmity, poverty and wickedness.
It shall come to pass in that day That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil (Isaiah 10:27).
“Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke? (Isaiah 58:6).
The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him – the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord (Isaiah 11:2).
May you encounter the power of the Highest to make you supernatural in the name of Jesus Christ.
May the blessing of the Lord rest upon you and may the Lord grant us such grace and anointing of the Overcomer and prosperity in the new year. Praise the Lord.
May the Lord move with His great power and let all His enemies be scattered.
