Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 23 of 31 days of the month of March, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘Jesus Christ – The Great Deliverer’ – Enemy shall be confounded.
The enemies of the Lord are constantly in a state of planning evil or wickedness with the scheme to steal, to kill and destroy lives of his prey. Thanks be to the Lord Jesus Christ who would render such expectation to be overturned. There are few Biblical situations encountered by children of Israel and apostle where the plan of their enemies were overturned or turned to foolishness.
Let them be ashamed and confounded Who seek my life; Let them be turned back and confused Who desire my hurt (Psalm 70:2).
Let them be confounded and consumed Who are adversaries of my life; Let them be covered with reproach and dishonour Who seek my hurt (Psalm 71:13).
Be pleased, O Lord, to deliver me; O Lord, make haste to help me! Let them be ashamed and brought to mutual confusion who seek to destroy my life; Let them be driven backward and brought to dishonour who wish me evil. Let them be confounded because of their shame,
Who say to me, “Aha, aha!” (Psalm 40:13-15).
Hear, O our God, for we are despised; turn their reproach on their own heads, and give them as plunder to a land of captivity! (Nehemiah 4:4)
Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28).
May you encounter ‘Jesus Christ – The Great Deliverer’ in the name of Jesus Christ.
May the blessing of the Lord rest upon you and may the Lord grant us such grace and anointing of the Overcomer and prosperity in the new year. Praise the Lord.
May the Lord move with His great power and let all His enemies be scattered.
