Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 21 of 31 days of the month of November, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The God of power’ – The power of the Highest.
The power of the Highest is the highest power of God. It is the power of God that does the impossibility. Mary was a virgin who conceived and bore the Son of God without the natural method of conception. This power is called Epikaizo. This is the same power that we have access for through our Lord Jesus Christ for His mighty works.
And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God (Luke 1 : 35).
The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him— the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord (Isaiah 11:2).
That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, if, by any means, I may attain[b] to the resurrection from the dead (Philippians 3:10-11).
Jesus Christ gave the disciples power and authority over unclean spirits to cast them out and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kind of disease. The blood of Jesus Christ along with the Fire of God are powerful weapons against wickedness.
May the Lord move with His great power and let all His enemies be scattered.
