Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 21 of 28 days of the month of February, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The Anointing of the Lord’– The gifts of the Spirit.
In today Daily Meditation, we will be meditating on the Anointing of the Lord and especially on the gifts of the Spirit. As Christian, you are meant not only to be filled with the Holy Spirit daily but you are required to know the gifts of God in you to be used to benefits others in the Kingdom of God. For instance, the person who is gifted to prophesy do so to benefit others and the church.
There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills (1 Corinthians 12:4-11).
Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith (Romans 12:6).
The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him – the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord (Isaiah 11:2).
May you encounter the power of the Highest to make you supernatural in the name of Jesus Christ.
May the blessing of the Lord rest upon you and may the Lord grant us such grace and anointing of the Overcomer and prosperity in the new year. Praise the Lord.
May the Lord move with His great power and let all His enemies be scattered.
