Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 20
of 31 days of the month of August, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The Lord – The Healer’ – Speaking in tongues and healings.
Speaking in tongues is a gift of the Holy Spirit that enables a believer to utter mysteries in the Spirit. A gift is something given free without any payment likewise the a Gift of God called the gifts of tongues. God gives us the gift of tongues to tap into the mystery of God. Another benefit is a language to enhances other spiritual gifts and the grace of God.
And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”(Mark 16:17).
Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret? (1 Corinthians 12:30).
Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them (Acts 19:11).
