Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 20 of 28 days of the month of February, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The Anointing of the Lord’– The outpouring of the Spirit.
In today Daily Meditation, we will be meditating on the Anointing of the Lord and especially on the outpouring of the Spirit. As Christian, you are meant not only to be filled with the Holy Spirit daily but you are meant to be overflowing in the presence of God. This is the promise of the Father to us as in the prophesy of Joel. However, many Christians as disciples aren’t attained that level of Christ’s. May you walk in the overflowing anointing in the name of Jesus Christ. The fruits of such outpouring include signs and wonders, prophesy, visions and dreams and many more. Jesus Christ was filled with these 7 Spirits of the Holy Spirit.
But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy. I will show wonders in heaven above And signs in the earth beneath: Blood and fire and vapor of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood,
Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass
That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved (Acts 2:16-21).
The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him – the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord (Isaiah 11:2).
May you encounter the power of the Highest to make you supernatural in the name of Jesus Christ.
May the blessing of the Lord rest upon you and may the Lord grant us such grace and anointing of the Overcomer and prosperity in the new year. Praise the Lord.
May the Lord move with His great power and let all His enemies be scattered.
