The Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising (Isaiah 60:3).
Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 19 of 30 days of the month of November, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘God of light’- The Gentiles shall come to your light.
The prophecy of Isaiah the Prophet to the Jew came to pass in the life of Jews and in Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ came as the light into the world. As He is the Light of the world so are we the light of the world. As we are the witness of the light of the Lord Jesus Christ, we can also be agent of the ministry of reconciliation turning people from the darkness to His marvellous light.
The Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising (Isaiah 60:3).
Through the tender mercy of our God, with which the Dayspring from on high has visited us;
to give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace (Luke 1:78)”
“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden (Matthew 5:14).
In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it (John 1:4-5).
Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life” (John 8:12).
And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil (John 3:19).
“The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness! (Matthew 6:22-23).
Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you (Isaiah 60:1).
May the ‘God of Light’ be your Light and salvation in the month and grant you all your heart desires, favour grace and the blessing.
