Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 16 of 31 days of the month of November, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The God of power’ – Dunamis.
Further to our study on the God of power, it is expedient to study and meditate on different type of power. Dunamis is the dynamic power of the Holy Spirit and signifies the active, transformative power behind Christ’s miracles. The God of Heavens and His Dunamis are essential in our walk with Jesus Christ. His power in the blood of Jesus Christ brought the new covenant and victory over Satan and his darkness.
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth (Acts 1:8).
And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My clothes?” (Mark 5:30).
Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19).
For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him (Colossians 1:16).
Jesus Christ gave the disciples power and authority over unclean spirits to cast them out and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kind of disease. The blood of Jesus Christ along with the Fire of God are powerful weapons against wickedness.
May the Lord move with His great power and let all His enemies be scattered.
