Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord (James 5:14).
Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 15 of 31 days of the month of August, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The Lord – The Healer’ – The anointing of the Holy Spirit
The anointing of the Holy Spirit helps us in the Healing and deliverance that brings His restoration. The anointing is the working power of God or the Holy Spirit. Anointing breaks yokes and burdens.
The Bible made us to understand that God gives power to His children. Likewise, all power belongs to God and at the right hand of the Lord is power. The Anointing of God is required in order to overpower the power of Satan. The power of the Holy Spirit and Fire are pivot in the Ministry of Jesus Christ especially for Healings and to cast out demons in His name. His disciples received the Power and went everywhere healings the sick.
Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven (James 5:13-15).
It shall come to pass in that day That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil (Isaiah 10:27).
