Then Moses said to him, “Are you zealous for my sake? Oh, that all the Lord’s people were prophets and that the Lord would put His Spirit upon them!” And Moses returned to the camp, he and the elders of Israel (Numbers 11:29-30).

Explanation:

Daily Meditation, day 15 of 28 days of the month of February, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The Anointing of the Lord’– Anointing to prophesy.

In today Daily Meditation, we will be looking at the Anointing of the Lord and especially meditating on the anointing to prophesy. When the Spirit of the Lord come upon you, the grace of the Lord enables you to prophesy – either to foretell or Forthtell. When Saul was among the prophets, he prophesied among them. When Moses gathered the seventy men of the elders of Israel in the Camp around the Tabernacle, the Lord came in the cloud and spoke to him. The prophetic anointing upon Moses was placed on them. The witnesses saw Eldad and Medad prophesying in the camp.

Then Moses said to him, “Are you zealous for my sake? Oh, that all the Lord’s people were prophets and that the Lord would put His Spirit upon them!” And Moses returned to the camp, he and the elders of Israel (Numbers 11:29-30).

Now his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Spirit, and prophesied, saying: “Blessed is the Lord God of Israel, for He has visited and redeemed His people (Luke 1:67-68).

The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him – the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord (Isaiah 11:2).

May you encounter the power of the Highest to make you supernatural in the name of Jesus Christ.

May the blessing of the Lord rest upon you and may the Lord grant us such grace and anointing of the Overcomer and prosperity in the new year. Praise the Lord.

May the Lord move with His great power and let all His enemies be scattered.
