Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 13 of 31 days of the month of November, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The God of power’ – The victory by the blood of Jesus.
The God of power is our God. His power in the blood of Jesus Christ brought the new covenant and victory over Satan and his darkness.
Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage (Hebrews 2:14 – 15).
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death (Revelation 12:11).
The same power is far above all principality and power and might and dominion. By His blood and His resurrected power He defeated powers of darkness and rendered them disarmed.
I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire (Matthew 3:10-11).
For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him (Colossians 1:16).
Jesus Christ gave the disciples power and authority over unclean spirits to cast them out and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kind of disease. The blood of Jesus Christ along with the Fire of God are powerful weapons against wickedness.
May the Lord move with His great power and let all His enemies be scattered.
