In that day Egypt will be like women, and will be afraid and fear because the waving of the
hand of the Lord of hosts, which He waves over it (Isaiah 19:16).
Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 12 of 31 days of the month of November, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The God of power’ – The hand of the Lord.
It is amazing that the prophets prophesized about the hand of the Lord and the significance on the enemy in particular. For instance we see the waving of the hand of the Lord causing His enemy to be afraid and fear. And His can trample His enemies and make them as refuse heap. In summary the hand of the Lord is an extension of His majestic and great power.
The same power is far above all principality and power and might and dominion. By His blood and His resurrected power He defeated powers of darkness and rendered them disarmed.
In that day Egypt will be like women, and will be afraid and fear because the waving of the
hand of the Lord of hosts, which He waves over it (Isaiah 19:16).
For on this mountain the hand of the Lord will rest, And Moab shall be trampled down under Him, As straw is trampled down for the refuse heap (Isaiah 25:10).
I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire (Matthew 3:10-11).
For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him (Colossians 1:16).
Jesus Christ gave the disciples power and authority over unclean spirits to cast them out and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kind of disease. The blood of Jesus Christ along with the Fire of God are powerful weapons against wickedness.
May the Lord move with His great power and let all His enemies be scattered.
