So Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly to the door of the tabernacle of meeting, and they fell on their faces. And the glory of the Lord appeared to them (Numbers 20:6)
Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 12 of 30 days of the month of August, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The God of Glory’ – The sight of the glory.
Activation of the glory of God is known in the scriptures. Many of the men of faith did whatever it takes to bring down the glory of God through faith, worship and spiritual practices.
So Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly to the door of the tabernacle of meeting, and they fell on their faces. And the glory of the Lord appeared to them (Numbers 20:6).
Moses was a prophet of God who witnessed the physical dimension of the glory of God. He desired to see the glory. And he said, “Please, show me Your glory.”(Exodus 33:18).
Now the glory of the Lord rested on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. And on the seventh day He called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud. The sight of the glory of the Lord was like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel. So Moses went into the midst of the cloud and went up into the mountain. And Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights (Exodus 24:16-18).
To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27).
I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me (Galatians 2:20).
