Then I returned and considered all the oppression that is done under the sun: And look! The tears of the oppressed, But they have no comforter— On the side of their oppressors there is power, But they have no comforter (Ecclesiastes 4:1).
Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 11 of 31 days of the month of March, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘Jesus Christ – The Great Deliverer’ – Deliverance from oppression.
Oppression of mankind is a terrible physical or spiritual experience. To experience oppression is to be treated with prolonged cruelty or unjust treatment. There is an oppressor and the oppressed. The Lord is ever merciful to the oppressed and He is always ready to those that called upon Him for deliverance from oppression. Their taskmasters did not make their works easy in anyway at all and enjoyed to see them oppressed. Spiritual oppression is much common as it can be disguised and unknown to many today.
And the Lord said: “I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows (Exodus 3:7).
Solomon wrote:
Then I returned and considered all the oppression that is done under the sun: And look! The tears of the oppressed, But they have no comforter— On the side of their oppressors there is power, But they have no comforter (Ecclesiastes 4:1).
“Because of the multitude of oppressions they cry out; They cry out for help because of the arm of the mighty (Job 35:9).
Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28).
Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19).
May you encounter ‘Jesus Christ – The Great Deliverer’ in the name of Jesus Christ.
May the blessing of the Lord rest upon you and may the Lord grant us such grace and anointing of the Overcomer and prosperity in the new year. Praise the Lord.
May the Lord move with His great power and let all His enemies be scattered.
