Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 10 of 31 days of the month of August, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘God, The Great Deliverer’ – Deliverance from darkness By His Light.
The Psalmist wrote and make us to understand that he fully dependent unto God to lamp his lamp and that God will enlighten his darkness. Jesus Christ came to the World and became a Light to us and delivered us from the power of darkness. Thanks be to the Lord Jesus Christ who died and rose up to give us victory over this power of darkness.
In the presence of the Lord, the Spirit of the Lord manifests with healings, deliverance, signs, wonders and miracle. The greatest deliverance is that from the power of sins and deaths. The Blind Bartimaeus heard that Jesus Christ was passing by and ran quickly and cried out. He was healed and delivered.
For You will light my lamp; The Lord my God will enlighten my darkness (Psalm 18:28).
“For You are my lamp, O Lord; The Lord shall enlighten my darkness” (2 Samuel 22:29).
Giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. (Colossians 1:12 – 14).
To open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me’(Acts 26:18).
May the ‘God, The Great Deliverer’ be your God in the month and grant you all your heart desires, favour grace and the blessing.
