Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 09 of 31 days of the month of November, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The God of power’ – Disarmed principalities and powers.
The Pauline letter to the Colossians by the Spirit of God explained the significant of the death and the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. By His blood and His resurrected power He defeated powers of darkness and rendered them disarmed.
Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it (Colossians 2:15).
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12).
Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:17).
He rules by His power forever; His eyes observe the nations; Do not let the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah (Psalm 66:7).
For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him (Colossians 1:16).
Jesus Christ gave the disciples power and authority over unclean spirits to cast them out and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kind of disease. The blood of Jesus Christ along with the Fire of God are powerful weapons against wickedness.
May the Lord move with His great power and let all His enemies be scattered.
