Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 08 of 31 days of the month of August, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘God, The Great Deliverer’ – By the mercy of God.
The mercy of God is a weapon of deliverance of God for acquitting his people from judgement. Mercy says you are free and not guilty in respective of how severe is the offence. The Lord Jesus Christ is the Healer and the Deliverer. In the presence of the Lord, the Spirit of the Lord manifests with healings, deliverance, signs, wonders and miracle. The greatest deliverance is that from the power of sins and deaths. The Blind Bartimaeus heard that Jesus Christ was passing by and ran quickly and cried out. He was healed and delivered.
And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me! (Mark 10:47).
So Jesus answered and said to him, “What do you want Me to do for you?” The blind man said to Him, “Rabboni, that I may receive my sight.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road (Mark 10:51-52).
Remember His marvellous works which He has done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth (1 Chronicles 16:12).
May the ‘God, The Great Deliverer’ be your God in the month and grant you all your heart desires, favour grace and the blessing.
